Lots of activity at the store! Everyone is setting up their spaces, and we are putting the finishing touches on the window displays and pop-up art. Be sure to see the finished product this Friday, November 6, 5-8 pm!

Here’s a snapshot of our progress so far. Things are changing by the day, and we’re psyched for our opening, which is only one week away!

Significant Elements has generously loaned us some vintage furniture pieces to use for product display. These pieces add a touch of elegance and they are also for sale. Your purchase of them benefits Significant Elements architectural salvage warehouse, which is a program of Historic Ithaca.

We got the keys to the store almost two weeks ago, and since then, the place has been buzzing with activity. We’ve cleaned and painted, and now all the artisans are setting up their spaces. The front windows are filling with cool pieces, and people are looking in. There is a lot of energy in the air. We are creating something new.

I will post some pictures soon. But for now, I just want to remind everyone to become a Facebook fan so you get all our announcements. And check back here regularly to see what we’ve been up to.
